Description
Brand New JBL 128H Aftermarket Recone Kit 8 ohm. This is a Speaker Exchange original pre-assembled recone kit with rubberized and/or plastic textured coating similar to the original JBL Aquaplas. Great replacement for the C8R128H kit that has been discontinued.
Parts specifications:
- Cone: 12″ cone with aquaplas-like coating, 1.5″ deep, 3.0″ voice coil opening, foam surround, ribbed body
- Voice Coil: 3.0″ inside diameter, 1.350″ form length, .795″ wind width, copper wire edge-wound, 8 ohm
- Flat Spider: with 3″ voice coil opening, 6.7″ outside diameter
- Dustcap: Paper no lip, 3.2″
- Gasket: 12″ Rubitex chip 4 segment
- Pigtails, shims and instructions are included.

After finding a pair of JBL L-112’s with some serious woofer cone damage, I was in search of some replacement cones. I knew the factory cones were no longer available but I still wanted the original “white” cone look. After searching high & low, I ran across these, boy was I glad I chose these. Although they aren’t factory AquaPlas coated, you sure could have fooled me, not only is the appearance factory like, but the sound quality is amazing, in closing I would just tell anyone looking to keep the factory original sound & look, you can’t go wrong with these. Thanks Speaker Exchange for keep’in it real!
