Brand New Yamaha JAY5120, JAY51200 12″ Aftermarket Recone Kit 8 ohm. Eminence part number 121630A. Parts specifications:
- Cone: 12″ outside diameter, 3.100″ deep, 1.5″ voice coil opening
- Voice Coil: 2.015″ inside diameter, 1.500″ form length, .500″ windings width, 8 ohm
- Cup Spider: with 2″ VC opening, 5.866″ outside diameter, .625″ cup height
- Dustcap: 4.338″ paper dome lip up
- Gasket: 12″ chip 4 sectors per set
- Pigtails, shims and instructions are included.
You will also need glue, epoxy and latex which are sold separately.

Used this and it went great. At first fit, the voice coil won’t be loose at all in the gap, but when attached all together, it doesn’t rub thankfully. Use the thickest shim for VC fit. All the gaskets will need to be cut on both ends to have a decent fit. The screw holes don’t line up the greatest, but it’s ok. You will need to cut a ton of the cone VC opening, don’t worry once you realize this. Watch videos about this. I suggest using epoxy everywhere (except surround doping of course) it’s easier to control. Good product overall will decent instructions, pictures are super helpful.
