JL Audio 12W3-D4 & 12W3V2-D4 DIY Aftermarket Recone Kit

Brand New JL Audio 12W3D4 & 12W3V2-D4 DIY Aftermarket Recone Kit. Please measure and verify parts before ordering!! The plastic collar around the voice coil must be reused.

Parts specifications:

• Cone: 12″ poly body with a foam edge, 3.5″ depth, 3.0″ VC opening
• Voice Coil: 2.252″ inside diameter, 2.53″ VC form length,  1.300″ wind width, dual coil, 4 ohms.
• Flat Spider: 6.438″ wide , 2.0″ VC opening – open to the size of the inside of the plastic ring
• Dustcap: Poly 5.0″ wide, plain black (no logo)
  
• Gasket: Reuse original or 12″ Rubitex 
• Pigtails, shims, and instructions are included.
• You will also need glue and epoxy.

You will need to reuse the black plastic collar that came with the speaker. The spider’s voice coil opening needs to be cut open to the size of the inside part of the plastic collar and the spider is glued to the collar and not the voice coil.
