M-Audio BX5A Tweeter

The M Audio BX5A Tweeter has been discontinued. The JBL 443574-001 tweeter is the same size but has an aluminum dome with slightly lower impedance. You should replace both tweeters.

Notes on possible modifications needed when using JBL replacement tweeter:

• It may be necessary to cut the large spade connector in the middle so it fits your 1/8” slip on connector. We can do this for you upon your request.

• With some BX5A models like the BX5A D2, it may be necessary to remove the heat sink from your original tweeters and install onto the JBL tweeter.
