Mackie HR824 8″ DIY Aftermarket Recone Kit

Brand New Mackie HR824 Series I  8″ DIY 4 ohm Aftermarket Recone Kit. Parts specifications:

• Cone: REUSE ORIGINAL IF POSSIBLE. Kit includes cone with 8″ outside diameter, 1.45″ deep, 1.5″ voice coil opening, poly cone with foam surround. Original butyl surround cone is not available. New cone has a foam surround that is wider than the the original. This cone and surround will work for this speaker, but it is visually different.
  
• Voice Coil: Kapton with 1.522″ inside diameter, 1.625″  form length, .625″ wind width- 4 ohms. Kapton voice coil former will dissipate more heat than original aluminum vc former. 
• Flat Spider: with 1.5″ VC opening, 5.2″ outside diameter PLUS
• Flat Spider: 5.497″ outside diameter
• Dustcap: Poly lip up, 2.73″ outside diameter
• Pigtails, shims and instructions are included.

*RBK802 rubber surround will fit your original cone. If you can salvage the body of the original cone, you can then purchase the voice coil and spider and surround and have a better matching recone kit*

*2 spiders are sent with the recone kit. Use whichever spider fits the frame the best.*

You will also need glue and epoxy which are sold separately.
